Teddy Porter

Theodore “Teddy” Porter has been lovingly known as Functional Chiropractic’s “mascot, chiropractor-in-training, youngest assistant, and the maitre’d” over the years. He is Dr. Porter and Teri’s son and has been in the office since about 8-weeks-old.

He is now 7 years old and loves to be at the office, running his hot cocoa stand, playing with Andria (4-year-old little sister), watching Daddy adjust patients, and helping with many tasks.

His favorite hobbies include building with Lego blocks, his building couch, and clay. His favorite color is red and he loves to “make faces and make his family laugh.” Teddy was born in Tennessee, because midwives weren’t legal in Alabama at the time, and when he grows up, plans to be a “builder… or a chiropractor”.

Real People, Real Results

I started seeing Dr. Porter because I was suffering from upper cervical and back pain. Since seeing Dr. Porter I've noticed a huge improvement in my pain levels. They have great customer service, and every employee will greet you with a smile. My wife also goes to Dr. Porter, and is getting relief with her migraines as well. I would highly recommend you check them out, if you too are are suffering from neck or back pain. There is relief to be had, and it can start at Functional Chiropractic!!!

Chronic Pain
I was a chiropractic care skeptic. I thought they were all snake oil salesman. Then I met with Doc Porter and really began to understand what the craft is all about what it does and does not do. After a few visits, I was convinced it made a difference in my life. After several years, I consider it essential healthcare. Full conversion to “Now I get it” - and not just any team can do that. Not all chiropractic doctors, just as in any profession, are the same. This is the best.
